With BM-Windream laboratory instruments and all other applications can store their data directly to the virtual BM-Windream network drive. The BM-Windream drive is accessible via the Windows® Explorer just like any other local or network drive. Data can simply be stored and retrieved using the "Save as..." and "Open" commands of any application program. On the desktop, files and documents can be handled directly via Drag&Drop or double-click.
For all data files on the virtual drive, BM-Windream features comprehensive security controls including hierarchical user access, computer generated audit trails, versioning, life cycle management and powerful indexing functions.
Long term archiving on optical media is seamlessly integrated through BM-Archive.
The BM-Windream Web Portal enables secure access to all data with any standard web browser via intranet or internet.
Data and document files in BM-Windream meet all specifications from 21 CFR part 11. Complete traceability and proof of acquisition date meet legal requirements for the substantiation of future intellectual property claims.
